smart wanted to create a simple competition/promotion on Facebook in order to gather new followers and engage their current ones at their Facebook page.

In order to do so, and following a banner campaign featuring a slot machine with the concept “Those who own smart win”, a simple slot-machine application under the same concept was created. All the users had to do was “Like” smart’s Facebook page, install the app and play the slot machine to earn points.

Those with the most points by the end of the promotion won exclusive smart prizes.

M&M’s wanted to create a social media teaser campaign to pave they way to their big summer campaign: M-Ball the Unpredictaball.

In order to prepare the public to the idea of a football which isn’t round and is completely unpredictable, we created a Petition for Sporting Unpredictability, launched and sponsored by 2 famous media personalities and comedians, Nuno Markl and Pedro Ribeiro. This petition was itself a spoof of the previous “serious” Petition for Sporting Truth, launched by a famous sports journalist.

Our Petition was completely “brand-free” and 100% based on Facebook, where we managed to gather more than 2.500 fans in little over one week. To support the Petition on Facebook, teaser banners and e-mails were also created as well as extensive radio airtime, courtesy of the 2 presenters who were the “faces” of the petition.

The teaser campaign ended with the official launch of the M-Ball, thus unveiling the format of the Unpredictaball, with a flashmob in the streets of Lisbon which gathered several hundred followers who then witnessed the presentation made by the 2 celebrities.

Delta Q, Delta’s capsule coffee brand, wanted to promote their new TV campaign, featuring famous portuguese comedian Bruno Nogueira interviewing their new Blends’ Capsules. 

The microsite presents each of the capsules in a particular and individual fashion, further deepening their personalities and traits previously introduced on the TV ads (also viewable on the microsite):
South-Africa: The capsule sees into the future and through a small query tells you how long you’ll live, depending on how much Rooibos tea you consume.
India: The capsule analyses your chakhra’s alignment and counsels you on how to better balance your life.
Colombia: The capsule-cumbia band “Los Aqtivos”, sings their one-hit-wonder “El Cafecito”, while presenting a small and quite curious bio for each of the  band members.
Brasil: This capsule owns her own Samba school in Rio de Janeiro, as proven by its Facebook Page, and came to fame by dancing on national TV while being interviewed by Bruno Nogueira.

Concept
San Miguel Unique’s are limited attendance events in Bilbao and Barcelona where only 600 double tickets to a Keane concert are given away through sanmiguel.es. These tickets cannot be bought or obtained outside the website.

To convey the reclusive and underground feeling associated with the events, the facade of an industrial-like building was recreated to represent the entrance to the concerts. All the contents are displayed as real elements surrounding the entrance.

Both concerts will be transmitted live through a video feed on the website.

To launch their new Dodot Activity diapers, Dodot created a campaign around the Dry Skins, a tribe of Indian babies who always have their tushies dry. The campaign’s microsite recreated the tribe’s village, where the user could know discover just how their baby could also become a Dry Skin through a few entertaining interactive games and product information.

Every year Nike organizes one of the most important foot races of the year in Lisbon: Corrida do Tejo. For the 2009 edition the website focused mainly on Nike’s Nikeplus services, specially design for core runners, and the brands’ running products. More than 10.000 people participate each year, including some of the leading athletes in the world.

On mother’s day we wanted to simulate how a baby could congratulate his mother if he had Dodot’s website all for himself for a day. So, we replaced the usual icons on dodot.es with babylike hand drawn figures and the texts with baby gibberish sentences written in colour crayons.

Concept

FC Barcelona, Nike and UNHCR signed a partnership where the club and sports brand agreed to contribute to UNHCR’s efforts in helping underprivileged youth and refugees. This partnership was named MÉS (More in catalan, from FCB’s slogan “Més que un club” – “More than a club”) and a special line of clothing was created by Nike. All the money raised through MÉS will be donated to UNHCR’s ninemillion.org initiative and FCB’s Fundació FCBarcelona.

A website was created to document and promote this partnership with information about the initiative, an exclusive interview with African footballer Yaya Touré and photos & specs of the products with links to nikestore.com. Users can also donate to ninemillion.org, join the facebook group (with more than 5.500 members) and download a digital pin to place on their website.

Concept
Since 2006, Dodot has been cooperating with UNICEF by offering a vaccine against neonatal tetanus to UNICEF for each pack sold in Spain and Portugal. In 2008 a microsite representing this voyage was created. It shows how a diaper or wipe bought in Spain travels to Africa to transform itself into a vaccine that saves a baby from a developing country.

In this microsite, besides explaining the nature of the initiative, the user could watch the TV ad, download wallpapers and mobile tones, send Christmas postcards and upload photos, videos and insert comments into the Solidarity Gallery. For each photo, video and comment another vaccine was sent to Africa.

An official website for the Dodot / UNICEF partnership, with all the information about the cooperation, neonatal tetanus and the initiatives enacted each year, is still online and updated yearly.

Baileys – Frappernity

Concept
Baileys launched a summer campaign based on the frappé version of their drink.

The “Frappernity” (Frappé + Fraternity) concept was developed to convey the sense of fun, complicity and freedom associated with the moments you spend with your friends during the summer. Having a drink in a perfect terrace by the beach, for example. A promotion, involving the draw of a sailboat trip and several other prizes, was created to promote the campaign.

The promotion’s microsite aimed at recreating these “Frappernity Moments”, through an interactive zootrope where the user could lead a character through several idyllic summer scenarios using the mouse. Thus, the user could live beforehand the great moments in friends’ company he or she would live in case of winning the sailboat trip.
